Message From The Principal

Years ago, the leaders of the Pocono Seventh-day Adventist Church caught the vision of establishing a Christian school in an effort to provide to its children an education aimed at restoring in them the image of God.  The focus then was to develop a Christ-like character in all the students entering its walls. The Bible says of Christ that He “increased in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man.” Luke 2:52

Today, that Christ-like ideal is still the goal of the Pocono Adventist Christian School. We are still making every effort to help our students to increase in wisdom (mental), in stature (physical), in favor with God (spiritual), and in favor with man (social). Thanks to the generous support of the Pennsylvania Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, the Stroudsburg Seventh-day Adventist Church, the Pennsylvania Department of Education, community members and friends of the school, we are still providing students with an education that emphasizes not only academic excellence but spiritual, moral, and health values as well.

It is our hope to continue our mission ” to inspire them with principles of truth, obedience, honor, integrity, and purity.” (E. G. White in Education p.29)
