About PACS
Located at 2001 West Main Street, in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, the Pocono Adventist Christian School can trace its roots back to its beginning over one hundred years ago when a small group of Adventists who lived in the area recognized the need for a Christian education in the lives of their children. This led them to establish a Seventh-day Adventist school even before the formal organization of a church.
Today, having faced and overcome many challenges, we still exist under the direction and supervision of the North American Division and the Pennsylvania Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. And the goal is still the same: the development of Christ-likeness in its students while they pursue academic excellence. We are committed to producing well-grounded students, not only capable of holding their own academically, but community leaders in integrity and morality.
That is the reason for our existence. It was, and still is, our driving force.

The Circle (01)
The circle is unique due to its simplicity nd continuity; it is described as the purest and most perfect shape. It evokes perfection, the infinite, since it never ends. It is also synonymous with protection, movement and adaptability. On the spiritual plane it represents the continuity of God, His eternity, He who has no beginning or end. As He Himself says in Revelation 22:13, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last. the Beginning and the End.
The Bible (02)
The Bible is the perfect guide in the life of a Christian’s faith; but also, it is the access door to a fundamental growth in the grace of Jesus Christ. and therefore to a deep growth as a person. “Your word is a lamp for my feet. a light on my path.” Psalms 119: 105 NIV
The Fame (03)
The biblical meaning of fire is often used to represent renewal, purification, and a new era or life. The glory of God is accompanied by fire. Fire is also used to represent the Holy Spirit who gives us the discernment to understand the voice of God. “And there appeared to them tongues resembling fire, which were separated and distributed and which settled on each one of them.” Acts 2:3 AMPC
Our Seal (04)
“They shall all be taught of God,” (John 6:45) is the motto chosen by our founders. For more than 60 years, this motto has guided our actions and has led us to constantly strengthen our identity to continue transmitting an image that reflects the core values of our education, its mission and scope.
Standards
WHY, HOW, and WHAT, should guide all our actions to improve education at all levels and in all contexts, for the teachers in the classrooms, the school administrators, and the leaders in the offices at the conference, union, and Division.
